Get to know me
Read about my story and the character strengths that are my nature.
Like you, I am a professional striver. My journey of self-discovery includes wrestling with the lack of harmony across the work, family, and community aspects of my life and a sense of incompleteness. I sought understanding and self-compassion by delving into my interests in the science of human wellbeing, and the transcendent wisdom of ancient philosophy. In doing so, I came to understand that my nature is that of a seeker of wisdom, a perspective-maker, and a teacher.
Throughout my career, I have been at my best and most fulfilled when acting as a leader, mentor, and/or advisor to others in support of their achievement of professional goals. The same applies to my family and community life whether it be supporting my three children in their personal development or coaching youth soccer teams.
The work I do today – coaching fellow strivers and guiding private equity-backed companies – reflects my own lived experiences, pursuit of knowledge, and self-discovery. In all my work, I integrate scientifically proven, evidence-based tools and practices of positive psychology with Stoic philosophy to bring the best out of others and to share the practices that enable the cultivation of a life of accomplishment, purpose, and harmony. I aim to provide wise, non-judgmental, and optimistic guidance to fellow strivers and the companies they shepherd.

In the transcendent wisdom of Stoicism and the modern science of positive psychology I have found the perspective, tools, and ways of thinking that support me in flourishing.
A tenet of Stoicism is that virtue is the only “good” worthy of pursuing. I subscribe to this idea and the modern-day science of character strengths (values in action), which invites us to actualize virtues through practices that align our actions with our values.
”If you live in harmony with nature, you will never be poor; if you live according to what others think, you will never be rich.
